Who we are
Young Women in Medicine began as a small coalition of girls united by their shared experiences with inequities in the healthcare system. What started as a grassroots effort has grown into a powerful organization of over 1,600 members—young women determined to challenge the status quo and drive meaningful change. From hosting workshops to launching international chapters, YWiM has transformed into a community of trailblazers, empowering the next generation to lead, innovate, and advocate for gender equity in healthcare.
